In 2020 alone, storms worldwide caused damage amounting to US$92.5 billion. The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction shows how median income reflects disaster-related death tolls, with three times as many deaths per disaster in low-income countries compared to high-income countries.  

Pik Mynos was a member of one such community, and has united with HOPE to deliver aid to other vulnerable communities around the world through his Earthy Peak fashion line.     

Growing up seeing their parents deployed to disasters like Hurricane Katrina and the Haitian Earthquake, a number of our Child Directors have a strong connection to HOPE’s origins as a disaster relief organisation. They’ve seen the suffering that victims endure and want to make a difference by following in their parents’ footsteps.  

They understand that being a Relief Operator is a duty to humanity, and not simply a job, pastime, or hobby, and are dedicated to doing everything they can to defend each other from harm and suffering.
