HOPE was created in 2004 as a direct-action disaster relief organisation, but have expanded our mission to support vulnerable groups around the world. Whether we are providing education to children to whom it has been denied or preserving the populations of endangered species across the globe, no cause is too big or obscure to fall outside the scope of our ambitions.
We are creating the world we want our children to grow up in, and letting children take the lead. That’s right, unlike any other charity HOPE follows the vision of 12 children aged 8-18 as members of the HOPE Youth Board of Directors. Their energy, passion, and commitment is unwavering, and they recently identified 19 core causes in dire need of support – all of which they are determined to pursue.
The positive impact we are making across the globe is in no small part to these children’s unique perspective on the world. Led by an intuition and determination supported by an innocence that is immune to the pessimism too common in adults, they are the relentlessly creative problem solvers of tomorrow.
Our mission is to beam our child directors’ hope around the world: to relieve pain and suffering, address inequality, and, ultimately, create a better, brighter future.
